Do you want the following?
What is Core Aeration and why is it good for my lawn?
By definition, Core Aeration is a type of lawn aeration where a machine (lawn aerator) with hollow tines mechanically removed plugs or "cores" of soil and thatch from your lawn. By removing these cores, it reduces soil compaction and allows oxygen, water, and nutrients to penetrate deeper into your soils.
Having your lawn core aerated allows your existing fertilizer to reach the root system of your lawn and become more effective. Core aeration also reduces the nasty thatch layer in your lawn that prevents water and fertilizers from reaching the soils and root system of the grass.
We want to make sure we locate all of your sprinkler heads before performing a Core Aeration and once we are done it's a good idea to water the lawn thoroughly to help break down the cores.
Why is Overseeding important for my Warsaw, IN lawn?
The process of overseeding your lawn does nothing more than add new life to an existing lawn. Over time, the plant (or grass) begins to thin out or even die in some areas. Plants don't live forever, and neither does your lawn. Injecting some new plant material in the form of new grass seed is a great way to keep your lawn looking green and healthy.
The combination of Core Aeration & Overseeding in the fall will fill in those bare and thin spots, add more deep green color, reduce weeds and make you the envy of all your Warsaw & Winona Lake neighbors.
We have been able to take a lawn that was full of weeds with brown and dead spots everywhere, and in a couple seasons (along with our organic based fertilization program) turn it around to become one of the best looking lawns we service. You don't always have to start over to achieve a nice looking lawn.
